Hi, I am looking for an old version of Minecraft for my son. A version between 1.5.2 and 1.7.2 will do. It must run on an old laptop(2.00 GHz, 8GB ram), so the newest version won't work. And I am looking for the original Minecraft series not the newer ones anyway.

You just select the version when you set up new instance also the latest versions actually run better as they have updated the lighting engine , if you still have issues go into game settings and change resolution to a lower one then of vsync and clouds of and drop render to 8 blocks
